Patrick Mahomes goes full Superman in a 3 play sequence

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs couldn’t get anything going after scoring an early nine points Sunday night against the Tennessee Titans.

In fact, Tennessee’s defense held the Chiefs scoreless for seven consecutive possessions. The bosses were frustrated. His fans were booing. It wasn’t a good look for a team that was a two-touchdown home favorite.

Down 17-9 in the fourth quarter, Kansas City was facing a third-and-17. That’s when Mahomes made his move on the ground with an absurd 20-yard scramble for a first down. When we say absurd, we mean it.

This is brutal for the Titans. They had coverage down the field, but they couldn’t count on Mahomes on the ground.

In six plays, Kansas City found itself in the end zone via a 14-yard touchdown run by Mahomes himself.

Come on. That’s some ridiculous Mahomes stuff right there.

Down 17-15, the Chiefs attempted two points and a tie. After multiple penalty calls on the Titans defense, Patrick Mahomes took it upon himself to score from a yard out to tie the game.

A quarterback known primarily for his ability to throw the ball, Mahomes finished this drive after completing 34-of-51 passes for 339 yards. He also had 63 yards and a score on the ground.

Superman is right.
