Patrick Mahomes ties Dan Marino’s NFL career record in just 6 seasons
With each passing day, Patrick Mahomes consistently proves that he is the best. He is breaking records like a cake walk and has set records like no other athlete in NFL history. He recently unlocked another milestone passing Dolphins legend Dan Marino for passing yards.
The Week 11 matchup not only gave Mahomes a thrilling victory, but also a chance to rewrite history. It was a nail-biting game, with the Chiefs sealing a last-minute 30-27 win against the Chargers. Meanwhile, it turns out Mahomes completed his 37th career 300-yard passing game through his first seven NFL seasons.
This feat was previously accomplished by Dan Marino from 1983 to 1989 and now Mahomes has joined that elite club. While it took Marino 101 games as a starter to make it happen, the Chiefs pass rusher did it in 73 games.
