Ronald Jones plays season-high snaps

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 31-13 in the regular season finale on Saturday.

Only two players on offense played 100% of the snaps, which tells you that this game was a dominant win for Kansas City. Chad Henne and three backup offensive linemen played seven snaps to help close out the game.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling continue to lead the Chiefs in receiver snaps. Justin Watson finished No. 3 in snaps on the day while Kadarius Toney needed just 18 snaps to have a productive day for the team.
  • Ronald Jones played a season-high 17 offensive snaps in Week 18, topping his previous high of 11 offensive snaps in Week 12. It started with a two-yard touchdown run and ended with two first downs to help ice the game.
  • Blake Bell continues to see his snap counts on offense rise with 18 snaps this week.
  • Lucas Niang played seven offensive snaps this week, the most in a single game since his Week 17 injury last season.
  • Khalen Saunders had one snap on offense this week, but it was a failed play in the red zone.
  • Nick Bolton, Justin Reid, Trent McDuffie, L’Jarius Sneed and Juan Thornhill played 100% of the defensive snaps. It was most impressive for Sneed, who was dealing with a hip pointer injury.
  • With Frank Clark exiting due to injury, Carlos Dunlap played the second-most snaps that he’d played in a single game this season.
  • For the first time in several weeks, Joshua Williams received no snaps on defense and played only on special teams. Jaylen Watson instead played 47 snaps, playing outside corner when the team was in nickel looks.
  • Williams and four other non-specialists played special teams-only snaps in Week 18. Chris Lammons led those players with 18 special teams snaps.
