The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl champions once more, and fans in western Missouri turned out in full force for the team’s victory parade on Wednesday as celebrations of their latest championship commenced in earnest.
Few occasions in Kansas City are more festive than the immense gatherings to celebrate newly won titles, and Wednesday’s parade was no different.
From the raucous cheers of the Chiefs’ faithful fans to the antics of the team’s players who joyously passed around the Lombardi Trophy while traversing the throngs of parade attendees in downtown Kansas City in massive double-decker buses.
Pictures and videos of the parade flooded social media on Wednesday as fans in attendance documented their experience of celebrating the Chiefs’ back-to-back Super Bowl championships.
