Chiefs stay perfect vs. Broncos, earn 16-14 win
The Kansas City Chiefs earned their ninth win of the season against the Denver Broncos in Week 10 to keep their perfect record intact.
Denver held a lead for nearly the entire game, and when Kansas City finally completed a fourth-quarter comeback to go up by two points, rookie quarterback Bo Nix led the Broncos on a marvelous drive that got kicker Will Lutz in range for a last-second field goal.
With their undefeated record on the line, the Chiefs’ special teams unit exerted all their effort to penetrate Denver’s protection for Lutz’s kick, and linebacker Leo Chenal was credited with tipping the ball to win the game.
