Chiefs to re-sign veteran DB Deon Bush
The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to re-sign veteran defensive back Deon Bush in one of their first moves of the 2024 free agency period.
The transaction was first reported by NFL insider Adam Schefter on Twitter in a post that can be seen here:

Bush proved to be a valuable piece in the Chiefs’ secondary last season but only saw limited action on the field.
His most notable contribution was a clutch interception in Kansas City’s playoff matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
While general manager Brett Veach’s decision to bring Bush back wasn’t the most notable news of Tuesday’s free agent frenzy, it could prove to be a crucial part of the Chiefs’ effort to win their third consecutive Super Bowl next season.
Expect Kansas City to be more active on the free agent market in the coming days as Veach looks to re-load ahead of the Chiefs’ next title defense campaign.
