The Chiefs came out victorious against the San Francisco 49ers 44-23 today as the teams met for the first time since Super Bowl LIV. Kansas City’s offense was spectacular today, racking up over 500 yards in the game, but the defense also came up with the big sack of Jimmy Garoppolo four times on the day. Chiefs DE Frank Clark surrendered 1.5 sacks of his own and didn’t get bitten after the win.
Clark met with reporters after the game and didn’t hold back his thoughts on the dominating win. It’s clear that Frank still remembers the Super Bowl where he was instrumental in the Chiefs’ 31-20 comeback victory in February 2020.
“We beat his ass in his stadium.” Clark said emphatically. “They talked about all this shit and you see what happened.”
