Quietbow’s Calls –  NFL WEEK 6 DRAFTKINGS – 

What up everyone, Onto week 6! Let’s win some $$!

 

(Do want to note this article is posted mid-week. Injuries/inactive could change things. Focusing on DraftKing’s main “Sunday slate” games. So you won’t see TNF, SNF, MNF, plays) 

 

Week – 5 – Recap: “when chalk attacks” it was a tough weekend to profit unless you had a group of the popular plays. CMC, Watson, Fuller, Godwin, M.Thomas, etc… weeks like that we don’t see very often expect things to come back down to earth this week. 

QUARTERBACK

Overview: The top three guys dominate the slate in matchups and fantasy points per game. Let’s break them down. 

My top 3:

P. Mahomes – ($7.5k) Should be the least owned of the three, his bummed ankle, beat up receiver core and price will keep his ownership down. What you can’t ignore in the matchup and gameflow for the reigning MVP. At home facing a bottom ranked secondary in a bounce back spot. You couldn’t ask for a better spot plus Houston will be able to keep up keeping Mahomes in a positive game flow all game. 

D.Watson-  ($6.7k) On the flip side of this game Watson is red hot coming into Arrowhead. Chief secondary cant stop anyone. Fuller and Nuk will eat. Pair them up with Watson and a Chief or two In your lineup is a nice stack. Expect to shootout, Watson will be chucking it all day unless Houston decides to run the ball all game which is a small concern especially with how banged up the Chiefs defensive front is. 

L.Jackson- ($6.9k) taking on CIN a team who can no stop anyone especially RB’s and rushing QB’s. This is a high floor/ceiling game for Jackson the 100 yard rushing and 300 yard passing bonuses are in play. There are no question marks around this play whereas there are some with Mahomes ankle and Houston could run a lot..

Secondary plays:  

J.Goff– ($6.1k) Love this play against a weak SF secondary, the pass rush is concerning but you can’t deny his home/road splits. Great stack with Kupp. 

M.Ryan – ($6.4k) Hi Arizona. Quietly Ryan has put up a great season there air raid offense will be on the field a lot. I could see 45 attempts for Ryan here. 

K.Cousins – ($5.2k) Dream matchup against the Eagles secondary in a funnel defence. Stack with Thielen/Diggs or Cook. Bring it back with Ertz. 

 

Low Owned Stacks with upside: (high risk)

G. Minshew – ($5k) Finally has a great matchup against NO. Great to stack with DJ Chark/Westbrook. Pick on the Saints CB’s all season long. 

S.Darnold ($5.1k) Here we go, he’s back against Dallas banged up D. Stack with Herndon/Anderson/Crowder/Bell. Pick two.

RUNNING BACK

Overview: CMC is off the slate leaving three top plays. A lot to like in the mid range volume wise. (If you play the Thursday-Monday or the Sunday – Monday, CMC is there and J.Conner is super underpriced.) Normal suspects are in play. RB’s vs ARI,CIN,KC,ATL every week.

Top Tier: 

Zeke: ($8.5k) – In a big bounce back spot after disappointing us week 5. I could see Dallas forcing Zeke the ball this week. 

D.Cook: ($8.4k) Draws a tough matchup against PHI but he’s pretty much matchup proof at this point. 25+ attempts and used in all three aspects of the game. 

A.Kamara: ($8k) Jacksonville D can’t stop the run coming in at the bottom 25 in DVOA. I could see a big game here as last week CMC shredded then. Kamara is just as good. 

Mid tier:

D.Johnson : ($7.6k) playing ATL who cant stop any RB DJ has a great matchup. Injury status is unknown so keep an eye on that. You can pivot to Chase Edmonds. 

L.Fournette: ($6.7k) Huge volume play and finally has a good matchup against NO. At home, 25 touches a game, plus pass work and goalline. That’s the volume you want. 

M.Ingram: ($6.6k) Great matchup against CIN I expect a big running game here. Though he is in a bit of a timeshare but it’s a great stack with Jackson as there WR/TE are banged up. We could see 35+ running plays here. 

L.Bell: ($6.4k) In the same matchup A.Jones was last week. Darnold is back which should keep Dallas from stacking the box. His talent is top notch and falls into a good spot here, also a great 3pm hammer

D.Henry: ($6.1k) Denver is suspect against the run with Chubb out. 25+ attempt game for Henry here and TD upside. 

C.Carson: ($6k) CLE just got toasted on the ground by SF. Gameflow sets up nice for Carson to pound the rock all day as SEA should be playing with the lead. Expect a 25+ touch game as long as he doest fumble. 

Low Tier:

Some lower-priced guys that will see some volume:

A.Peterson: ($4.5k) New coach want to ride the running game and there playing Miami. 

C.Hyde ($4.4k) – Play RB’s against KC. Revenge narrative and he had 21 attempts last game. I’m sure Houston is thinking the same thing after watching IND running down the Chiefs banged up D-Line. 

C.Edmonds: ($4.6k) if DJ is out or limited fire up Edmonds in a great matchup.

WIDE RECEIVER   

Overview: A lot to like this week in the KC/Hou game which draw most of the ownership.

High Tier:

C.Kupp: ($7.1k) – Get him in an LU or two. He smashes every week. Cooks in concussion protocol bumps his usage up. He is a very sage play.

D. Hopkins:($7.4k) He’s gonna have that smash game and it’s coming this week against KC who can’t guard anyone. Highest projected total. Its Nuk week. 

A.Cooper: ($7k) He’s a little limited with an injury but has a great matchup vs the Jets. Daks go to target is ready to feast this week. 

Mid Tier:

T.Hill: ($6.9k) If he is gonna play slam him into your lineups. It’s that simple. 

W.Fuller: ($6k) KC cant hold him down, look for a repeat on last weeks performance. 

A.Thielen + S.Diggs: ($6.7k/$5.9) Diggs draws the best matchup going against Darby and will be so low owned. Love the spot both of these receivers are in against Philly secondary. 

T.Lockett: ($6.4k) Should go overlooked this week in a great matchup against the Browns. Great stack with Wilson. 

Larry Fitzgerald: ($6.1k) Gets one of the best matchups on the board going against ATL. DJ is banged up. Murrey will look to Fitz all game. 

Dede Westbrook/DJ Chark ($5.1k/$5.5k) Westbrook has a smash MU against PJ Williams and will be hardly owned most will play Chark. Take advantage of the NO secondary all year. Love pairing them with Minshew. 

Chiefs WR: there all in play. We need to wait on injury status of Hill/Watkins. 

Low Tier:

M.Sanu: ($4.5k) Julio looks to be banged up which will bump Sanu, he is getting the volume we want each week and you couldn’t ask for a better matchup plus price. 

B.Pringle: ($3.5k) Value playing if Hill and Watkins are out. In a high scoring game. 

J.Crowder: ($4k) Darnold favorite target. 

P.Williams/A.Wilson ($4.1k/$4k) Redskins D is bad and Rosen has to throw it to somebody. 

TIGHT END

Overview: The top 4 guys are really the only plays and that’s where everyone will be going. 

 

Z.Ertz:($5.3k) Top overall play against MIN in my opinion as Ertz takes on a funnel D. He put 30 last year in the same spot. 

T.Kelce:($7k) Great bounce back spot against Houston. The safest of all the KC skill positions to play. Lock and load Kelce. 

A.Hooper:($5k) Next up on the Miami flowchart. Play this with confidence. 

G.Kittle($5.2k) Great spot against the Rams in a high volume situation.  Priced really low for the talent level he provides 

Low Tier: 

N.Fant: ($2.9k) decent volume for the price. I like this punt if you just want to save some $$ and use it elsewhere.

DST 

Top Tier: 

Seattle: ($3.4k) Baker is just so bad and turnover prone. I’m sure Seattle took notes last week. 

Redskins: ($3.2k) New coach motivation and any D playing MIA is on our radar. 

Punt: 

Jets($1.5k) at home, super cheap and there D is pretty good. Love this play this week to help you jam in the studs.
