Quietbow’s Calls –  NFL WEEK 9 DRAFTKINGS – 

What up everyone, Onto week 9! Let’s win some $$!

 

(Do want to note this article is posted mid-week. Injuries/inactive could change things. Focusing on DraftKing’s main “Sunday slate” games. So you won’t see TNF, SNF, MNF, plays) 

 

Week – 8 – Recap: I put too much faith in Gurley (Kupp was the play) and overlooked Coleman. It’s easy to say after the fact but we need to capitalize on these situations. 

 

QUARTERBACK

Overview:  

My top 3:

R.Wilson- ($7.1k) Amazing matchup against a true funnel D. Seattle should have a hard time running. Russ stands far and away as the best play this week. 

M.Stafford-  ($6.8k) Oakland should be able.to hang, keeping a positive game flow. Plus Oaklands secondary ranks low. Stack with Golladay/Jones. 

K.Cousins- ($6.7k) Time to pick on the Chiefs, there CB’s does not match up well against Diggs/Thielen. Uptempo game with or without Mahomes. 

Secondary plays:  

J.Winston– ($6.1k) Seattle’s secondary has been getting shredded. Shootout game. Stick with Evans/Godwin. 

A. Rodgers- ($6.9k) His receivers will be running free all game. Hopefully, he goes overlooked. 

 

Low Owned Stacks with upside: (high risk)

M.Trubisky – ($5k) Has the best matchup but can he finally put something together is the question. 

M.Moore ($4.8k) He has all the weapons. If he can produce half of what Mahomes can your in great shape. Pair with Hill/Kelce. 

Note* If Mahomes plays fire him up, he will be low owned in a great spot.

RUNNING BACK

Overview: CMC and Cook are priced up and near-lock status, same with J. Samuels. 

Top Tier: 

D.Cook: ($9.5k) – Smash spot against KC. If you can fit him make it work. 

CMC: ($10k) Anytime he’s on the slate we are gonna play him. Doesn’t matter the matchup. His price is pretty high this week. 

Note* If you can figure a way to play both with some value it may pay off this week. 

Mid tier:

Lev Bell : ($7.7k) Hello Miami,  great matchup and it’s time for him to produce. 

N.Chubb: ($7.3k) 25+ back against Denver,  gameflow sets up nice because Denver wont have much offensive going. Could be a big run game for Chubb. 

A.Jones: ($7k) Chargers are beat up. Could play both William’s and Jones. 

A.Ekler: ($6k) Rivers should pepper him with targets all game as they are likely trailing. 

 

Low Tier:

Some lower-priced guys that will see some volume:

P.Lindsey ($5.3k) Denver will try to run the ball a lot with Flacco out. 

Ty Johnson.: ($4.9k) – Flopped last week but has another great matchup against Oakland. 

J.Samuels: ($4k) May be the only healthy RB on PIT this weekend.
