Shifty WR shows off superb route-running at Chiefs training camp

The Kansas City Chiefs worked hard in the offseason to revamp their struggling receiving corps and brought in some talented players to compete for targets from Patrick Mahomes in 2024.

Though the team’s additions of Xavier Worthy and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown made headlines after Kansas City’s Super Bowl LVIII campaign, the steady presence of second-year wideout Rashee Rice has been a revelation to fans who have attended practices at Chiefs training camp.

On Friday, Rice showed off his exceptional route-running ability and snuck into the endzone to score a touchdown against third-year veteran Keith Taylor during red zone drills.

Take a look at the play below to see how much Rice has developed since his rookie season:

Now, it seems the only thing that might be able to slow Rice down is a potential suspension for his involvement in a car crash in Dallas, Texas after the Chiefs’ championship win in February, which landed him in hot water during the 2024 offseason.
