Week 10: Chiefs vs. Titans
Guess who’s back, back again, Mahomes is back, tell your fantasy friends! The Chiefs are coming off a thrilling 3 point victory over the Minnesota Vikings (Final Score: 26 – 23) and I anticipate the energy carrying over into week 10 as our boys travel to Tennessee to take on the 4-5 Titans. Show-me-the-money Mahomes has all his weapons this week, so this one should be fun!
I love the Chiefs passing attack this week against a Titans squad that is pretty good at defending the run but not so good at stopping the pass. Mahomes spreads the ball out, so every receiver is in play but the Cheetah is who I am paying up for on DraftKings. I mean, is it me or is the Cheetah even faster this year? This guy is playing in a completely different gear! I’ve never seen anything like it. He is simply un-coverable. Look for Mahomes to air it out to the speedster multiple times tomorrow. And with the Titans missing Malcolm Butler (CB) and a banged up Adoree Jackson (CB), the Mahomes to Tyreek combo should take us right to the bank!
I also like Travis Kelce a lot this week. The Titans are 9th worst defending the TE this season and are dealing with a plethora of injuries in their secondary. An average week for Travis Kelce is 15 fantasy points per game, so his floor is low, his price is 6400 on DraftKings, which is also low, Mahomes is back, and Kelce is due for a massive game! I know it’s hard to fit in all the studs, but I believe it’s a max and min week. Meaning squeeze in as many studs as you can and throw in some minimum priced guys to fill out the rest of your lineup.
Let’s talk CHIEFS STACK—
Patrick Mahomes (7,000)
RB (low priced)
RB (high priced)
Tyreek Hill (7,700)
WR (low priced)
WR (low priced)
Travis Kelce (6,400)
Flex (mid price)
DST (mid price)
Don’t be afraid to roster Damien Williams this week. As mentioned in previous articles, Mahomes loves to pass to his running backs. Damien seems to have surpassed LeSean as the lead back, and with the Chiefs most likely playing with a good lead, the game flow is in his favor.
Go Chiefs!!
