In this week’s matchup, the Chiefs travel to Detroit to take on the undefeated Lions.  Yes, they tied the Cardinals, but are still technically unbeaten. And although 3x Superbowl champion Matt Patricia has experience coaching against the Chiefs and defeated them when he was a Patriot, the Alex Smith helmed Chiefs are not the same as the Mahomes helmed Chiefs. In three weeks Mahomes is averaging 400 yards and 3.3 touchdowns a game. He picked apart the Ravens D last week and I don’t foresee this week against Patricia’s D being any different.

In fact, this week… I see Mahomes surpassing his average. Patrick Mahomes in a dome, are you kidding me? In college, when Mahomes played in a dome, he averaged 492.25 passing yards and 4.75 touchdowns per game! Against Baylor, he threw for six touchdowns in a dome… On two separate occasions! And that was in college! Without Travis Kelce, Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman, and Demarcus Robinson. With those weapons and two years in the Andy Reid system… The roof of Ford Field is about to be blown the f*** off!

Start Mahomes in your fantasy lineup with confidence. Pair him with a Chiefs receiver or two, or play him naked. He flips it to his running backs as well, so you have options!
