As the Chiefs set their sights on being the one-seed in the AFC playoffs, a key offensive weapon has become available. 33-year-old tight end Zach Ertz was waived this week by the Arizona Cardinals and NFL insider Adam Schefter has called the Chiefs a “realistic” landing spot for the former Pro Bowler.
Ertz asked to be released by the Cardinals as he is in hopes of playing for a contender this season. The Eagles and Bills were also named as potential landing spots for Ertz.
