Chiefs Kingdom has a new member. Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid is celebrating more than just another trip to the Super Bowl as one week before clinching the AFC Championship, he and girlfriend Marissa Rand welcomed their baby girl.
“It was a busy weekend for me,” the 27-year-old said during a Chiefs press conference on Jan. 22. “I got to have my baby girl which was the highlight, even better than the divisional win.”
Justin—who has been with Marissa since 2022—explained the level of happiness he had when he met his little girl.
“I got to go to the birth center, I saw her being born,” he said. “And didn’t feel anything except love and so much happiness holding her.”
The same day, Justin shared a picture of himself cradling his newborn daughter in a since-expired Instagram Story.
Justin and Marissa announced that they were expecting their first child in October. Taking a page out of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s book, Marissa stood on the sidelines while the Chiefs faced-off against the New Orleans Saints holding a sign that read, “Justin I’m pregnant.”
